"Great products are made by people who really care."
I believe this statement summarizes the core essence of Body Vision. Indeed, the people who work here are extremely talented and, even more, they are passionate to improve lung cancer diagnostics and treatment. Every single one of our team members brings with them an enormous amount of ambition and motivation, making our product the best it can be.
We believe that behind a great product design there are three main components: cutting edge technology, ability to constantly listen to physician’s feedback, and a product mindset.
Our philosophy is to focus on the key user needs; therefore, we constantly gain knowledge from user feedback in order to improve our product. We treat our physicians as our partners, proactively detecting pains and gaps while providing creative solutions to their problems. Some of the problems are challenging while others are truly very complex to address. We monitor and measure our performance after every single procedure and draw conclusions in order to constantly refine our product solution .
Listening to the physicians that we work with is our top priority as a team, without exception. Our software, hardware and catheter engineers are in constant contact with the physicians. They have attended over 400 clinical procedures taking place worldwide. Additionally, our engineers have participated in over 40 lab experiments, where they operated our platform independently, in the hospital setting, using real bronchoscopes and other common tools used by the physician. This helps to put the developer in the “shoes” of our users, allowing them the true personal experience of the procedure workflow from the physician’s point of view.
Moreover, our R&D team has conducted over 130 hands-on sessions and interviews with physicians, with the goal of receiving direct, objective feedback on new product features. We learn so much from these sessions and the gained knowledge allows us to focus both our technology and product solutions on the true customer needs.
The constant interaction with our users through the framework of clinical studies, usability sessions and open-minded conversations allow our team to maintain a user-centered product mindset, where every team member strives to understand the end user’s needs, while developing and deploying the product. We believe that by keeping the bigger picture in mind, along with our “why,” and always thinking about our long term vision and goals, everyone stays focused and we are enabled to progress by leaps and bounds towards our mission to revolutionize the diagnosis and early-stage treatment of lung cancer.
