With over 30 years of engineering, operations, and product development experience in the medical device and healthcare IT industries, Matt has a proven track record of driving innovation in highly competitive markets and is uniquely positioned to guide Body Vision’s growth in delivering critical tools for early lung cancer diagnosis and treatment.

 

Matt holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University.

Mike Hostetler

VP of Sales and Marketing

Mike has 25 years of commercialization experience in the medical device and technology industries. He has led Sales, Business Development, Marketing, and Product Management teams and has served as a strategic consultant for multiple start-up companies. Mike has a background in the interventional pulmonology space and, while working for Amazon, Microsoft, and Flywheel.io., has gained extensive experience in AI and medical imaging.

 

Mike holds a B.A. in Human Physiology and an MBA in Marketing & Operations from the University of Minnesota.

 

Momi Karako

Chief Financial Officer​

Momi comes to Body Vision with immense venture capital and investment banking experience, having been a Partner at Pontifax Venture Capital the past 7 years. Prior to joining Pontifax, Momi was a General Partner in Viola Credit, a leading Israeli venture debt fund, which initiated more than 100 debt transactions in mid to late-stage technology companies in various sectors.

 

Momi is a CPA, holds a B.A. in Accounting & Economics from the Tel-Aviv University, and an MBA from the New York Polytechnic University.

 

Benny Krauz

VP of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs

 

With over 20 years of industry experience, Benny brings a wealth of knowledge in the medical devices field. He has worked in senior roles ranging from production engineering to global operations management. He has grown small start-ups into mature medical device companies, and led operations, engineering, regulatory, and QA activities with dedication and focus.

 

Benny holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Tel Aviv University and an MBA in executive management from Bar Ilan University.

Yael Vin MD, MPH

Chief Medical Officer

Yael joins the executive team after 25 years of clinical practice as a board-certified surgeon specializing in general surgery and interventional radiology. She brings a wealth of clinical knowledge to Body Vision where she will lead the expansion into minimally-invasive therapies and other clinical applications of the company’s AI-driven tomographic and advanced imaging technologies.

 

Yael completed an interventional radiology fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and her residency in general surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Yael earned her Masters of Public Health from Harvard University and her medical degree from Hadassah Medical School.

 

Michal Beker

VP of Operations

Michal brings over 21 years of engineering and operational expertise, including 9 years of increasing responsibility at Body Vision Medical, to her role as Vice President of Operations. With a proven track record in leading cross-functional teams, streamlining processes, and scaling operations, Michal is instrumental in ensuring the seamless delivery of innovative solutions that empower clinicians in the fight against lung cancer.

 

Michal holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA in Finance from Tel Aviv University.
